Blackhawk Hotel

The Blackhawk Hotel is located in downtown Cedar Falls just a few short blocks from the wedding and reception site. It is newly refurbished and is on the National Register of Historic Places.

All rooms have desks, phone, cable tv/coffeemakers, some with microwaves/frigs., mix of modern and antique furnishings (each room different), quilts in all rooms, and complimentary bottled water.

An airport shuttle is available.

The number of rooms is limited.

The Blackhawk Hotel is "officially" sold-out. There are still several nice rooms left that we have reserved for our guests. If you are interested in staying at the Blackhawk please call or email us at 319.553.0435 or wedding@lapsan.com and let us know.

We are, however, asking that you make your reservations as soon as possible because we found out that the weekend of our wedding is the same weekend as the UNI Homecoming game.

University Plaza Holiday Inn and Days Inn

These two hotels are located on University Avenue in Cedar Falls. Next door to each other, staying at either one means you can use the amenities of the other, such as the indoor and outdoor pools and game room. Call 319.277.2230 to make a reservation.

depending on room size.
